Article 1: Organisation

Verbier/Val de Bagnes – La Tzoumaz Promotion SA (hereafter “Verbier Promotion”) whose registered office is at 9 Chemin des Marais Verts, 1936 Verbier, Switzerland, is organising a competition (hereafter the “Competition”) called “Top Table” as part of a promotional campaign for winter experiences on offer in the area of Verbier – Val de Bagnes – La Tzoumaz.

Article 2: Entry Conditions

The Competition is free to enter and there is no obligation to purchase.

Entry to the Competition is subject to acceptance of these terms and conditions.

Anyone who has legal capacity and who resides in the UK may enter this Competition.

Each person may only enter the Competition once throughout the duration of the Competition.

Those involved directly or indirectly in the creation, organisation or running of the Competition, employees of or those working for Verbier Promotion and/or its partners, as well as their family members, may not participate in the Competition.

Article 3: Competition procedure

Participants in the Competition must fill out a questionnaire setting out the experience that most suits their profile, choosing from various predefined experiences in the area.

The Competition runs from 9 January 2017 to midnight on 19 February 2017. Entry to the Competition is subject to all the required details having been provided on the entry form. Any incomplete entry form shall be inadmissible, as well as those with incorrect contact details. Participants who do not abide by any or all of these terms and conditions shall not be eligible for the prize draw.

Article 4: Determining the winners of the Competition

On 20 February 2017 (or in the following days in the event of a redraw), one participant chosen by draw will win a trip and experience in Verbier on a set date, 16th to 19th of March 2017. The Competition winners shall be notified by letter or email of the experience won and the relevant date. Each winner must confirm their participation within the 48 hours following the date of notification of the win, otherwise the organisers can put the prize back into the draw.

The experiences on offer in the prize draw are described on the website www.verbier-table.ch. Below is a summary.

The prize offered includes return UK flights for 8 people (from a London area airport), shared transfer from airport to resort, 3 night’s accommodation for 8 people in Chalet Plein Soleil with Ski Armadillo on half board (buffet breakfast and evening meal, drinks not included) and lift passes. Ski hire, ski lessons and travel insurance are not included in the prize. Travel to the UK airport is not included.

Verbier Promotion reserves the right to change the prizes and the terms and conditions of the Competition, and it may suspend or cancel the Competition without notice.

Prizes cannot be exchanged with other prizes or converted into cash. The date of the experience cannot be moved or postponed for any reason (including inability to participate due to illness, accident, or any other reason).

Article 5: Organiser’s liability

Verbier Promotion is not responsible for travel expenses to the area or lodging (except where this is expressly part of the prize) and shall not be liable for any loss arising directly or indirectly from participation in the Competition. When staying in the area, each participant takes part in the experience at their own risk and Verbier Promotion is not liable for any accidents or illnesses which arise from the experience. In particular, Verbier Promotion accepts no liability for the prizes offered and the services provided by its partners. Verbier Promotion shall not be liable for any loss of data, or any technical issues arising from servers, platforms or media devices (including where data has been lost or shared, viruses or damage caused to computers or difficulties/inability to register on-line).

Verbier Promotion shall not be liable if the Competition is cancelled, interrupted or changed throughout.

Article 6: Personal data

The winners irrevocably authorise Verbier Promotion to attend or send a representative to the experience to record it (by way of interviews, photos and videos etc.). The winners permit Verbier Promotion as well as its partners, to mention their names and reproduce the images, recordings and videos of the experience for any publicity or promotional campaign (in the press, radio, television, on the internet or any other media) which is linked to this Competition or the general promotion of Verbier and the area, without any right to any compensation whatsoever, other than the prize won.

Information relating to each participant may be used by Verbier Promotion and its partners for direct marketing purposes. The Competition participants expressly authorise Verbier Promotion and its partners or authorised parties to send them publicity and other communications to the address set out on the entry form until such authorisation is revoked. Participants also agree to Verbier Promotion using a third party to process personal data.

Participants’ information and data of a personal nature shall be processed in accordance with the 19 June 1992 Law on Data Protection. Participants have a right to access, rectify and oppose the use of such data (except the winners to whom the above articles shall apply).

Article 7: general terms

Participation in the Competition constitutes express and unconditional acceptance of all of these terms and conditions.

The organiser will settle any dispute related to this Competition (including the prize draw) and the interpretation of these terms and conditions. The organisers will not enter into any correspondence, and will not respond to any request in writing or by phone, relating to the interpretation or application of these terms and conditions, the running or procedure of the Competition or the designation of the winners.

Any fraud or failure to abide by these terms and conditions shall result in exclusion from the Competition, and Verbier Promotion reserves the right in such cases to take legal action against the author of such fraud or failure.

This Competition shall be governed by the laws of Switzerland exclusively. The courts shall not have jurisdiction over this Competition (however in the event that this article is contested, the Bagnes court shall have jurisdiction).
